A competitor radar on maps for local business owners
Pinsonar gathers Yandex Maps, Google Maps and 2GIS listings into one base, compares you with competitors and alerts you to their changes.
Works in Google Chrome.
Your neighbours are on the map. Do you know what they changed this week?
A local business competes on three maps at once. Checking every competitor's listing by hand takes hours, and a new promotion or a price drop usually shows up by chance.
- Ratings, reviews, prices and photos are spread over three different maps.
- You hear about a competitor's promotion when a customer mentions it.
- It is hard to tell which places your area already has and where the niche is free.
One base, one view of your area
Pinsonar merges the listings of one business into a single record and shows your numbers next to theirs. When something changes, you get an alert.
How it works
-
Pick an area and a niche
Mark a point on the map, enter what you are looking for and set the radius.
-
The extension collects the listings
The Chrome extension reads the public listing pages in your own browser. You decide when a collection starts.
-
Compare and follow
Look at the map and the table, open a competitor's card, set alerts and export to Excel.
What you get
Everything is built around one question: how do I look next to my neighbours?
Map
Every business is a point coloured by its rating. Filter by area, rating or status.
CRM table
All listings in one table with filters, the columns you choose, your own lead statuses and notes.
Competitor card and prices
A competitor's card shows its numbers next to yours: rating, reviews, prices, services and promotions.
Alerts
Get a signal when a competitor changes a price, starts a promotion or its rating moves.
Time machine
See how a listing looked before: every version of a card keeps its date.
Excel reports
Export what you see to Excel for yourself or a partner.
What people use it for
Pinsonar is made for the owner of a local business who wants to see the area, not to read forty listings by hand.
See who is nearby
Look at the neighbours around you and where you stand next to them: rating, reviews, prices.
Hear about changes early
Set alerts instead of checking competitors' cards by hand.
Find a free niche
See which kinds of places your area already has and where there are few.
Take it with you
Export the comparison to Excel for yourself or a partner.
How your data is handled
Pinsonar does not promise more than it does.
Collected in your browser
The Chrome extension reads public listing pages on your computer. At the first launch it shows what it processes and asks for your consent.
You see what you collected
You see the businesses from your own collections. Your notes, statuses and tasks are private.
A date on every version
Data comes from the public listings of the maps and keeps the date of each version. Accuracy is not guaranteed; doubtful matches between maps are reviewed.
Honest coverage
Yandex Maps and Google Maps work in any country, 2GIS where it exists. A platform that does not cover your area is skipped.
